How to use the Bookings add-in for Outlook and Teams
Search for all meeting rooms across multiple locations with ease.
On Outlook
On Teams
When using Microsoft's unified calendar experience between Outlook and Microsoft Teams, the AskCody add-ins work out of the box, and are immediately available for users in Teams as well.
To use the AskCody Add-ins on Outlook, make sure to follow these steps:
- Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the Calendar app
- Make sure the "New Calendar" toggle (top-right corner) is enabled
- Create a new event in the calendar
- Open the new event pop up as a separate window
- AskCody Add-ins will appear automatically in the new Teams Calendar experience, just like in Outlook
Compatibility Requirements for Teams
- Latest version of AskCody Add-ins (Bookings, Services, Visitors)
- Microsoft SSO enabled for a seamless, login-free experience with access to the described multitasking scenarios and starting Teams chats from AskCody
